Implementing an Innovative Workforce Management Solution for ABC


Our client ABC Ltd. approached us to provide recruitment solutions for IT professionals and project managers. They had a performance issue with the candidates supplied by their in-house team. We arranged a meeting with them to understand their business needs and conducted a market intelligence exercise to understand the loopholes.

The Challenge

We came to the conclusion that ABC Ltd would require a unique solution for recruitment and workforce management. However, we took some time to understand their areas of concern which could help us design a bespoke solution to their problems.

The meeting highlighted the following problem areas:

  • Low quality and performance of workers
  • A cultural mismatch between ABC and workers
  • High rate of attrition

Process and Insight

We entered into a contract with ABC Ltd. after a competitive tendering process. As per the terms of the contract, we were to supply temporary and permanent staff for IT professionals at their site in XYZ. The recruitment process was supposed to start within a month.

We employed our best-in-class recruitment methodology to hire new candidates whose skills and qualities were in sync with the company’s project requirements. Our team set down clear KPIs for the new recruiters and monitored them. In addition, our recruitment managers personally visited the site for a smooth transition of the candidates to the new workplace.

The Solution

As part of our recruitment process, we assessed the needs of ABC Ltd. and introduced an independent hiring process in no way connected to their in-house hiring teams.

Firstly, we conducted a robust pre-screening process and then shortlisted the most suitable candidates for a face-to-face interview at ABC Ltd. After a rigorous personal and professional skill interview round, the candidates were selected based on their skills. We then took them for a site tour at the company premises to introduce them to the new workplace and team leader. This allowed them to become familiar with their working environment, after which we provided them with the offer letter.

The Results

We were given an initial requirement of 20 professionals for various IT domains. We successfully filled the positions with suitable candidates and also managed to hire 40 within the next two weeks. We have now bagged the contract to hire employees for the whole site.
