Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled website developer responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development technologies and a passion for creating user-friendly, responsive, and high-performance websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites and web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers
- Ensure websites are responsive and mobile-friendly
- Optimize websites for speed and performance
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Maintain website security and data protection standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong experience working with WordPress (theme & plugin development/customization)
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (theme customization, app integration)
- Experience in API development and integration (RESTful APIs, third-party APIs)
- Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python)
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL, MongoDB
- Understanding of version control systems like Git
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom CMS development
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
- Experience in e-commerce optimization and payment gateway integration
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
- 1–3+ years of relevant experience (varies by role level)
